Accessibility
The Kromhouthal is easily accessible by public transport, car or boat. There is sufficient parking space in front of the door and in the immediate vicinity. The Kromhouthal also has its own jetty for boats, about a five-minute boat ride from Amsterdam Central Station.
Via IJtunnel: After leaving the IJtunnel, take the first exit and then sort left at the traffic lights. At the roundabout, take the second exit to the Johan van Hasseltweg. Take the second right to go to the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. Follow this road to the end. The Kromhouthal is on the left.
From Schiphol, take the A4 towards Utrecht/Haarlem/Amsterdam. Continue on this road to the A10. On the A10 take exit s116 towards the Centre. After 600m turn left towards Nieuwe Leeuwarderweg/N247. Then immediately take the Noord 300-349 exit. Follow the road and after 300m turn left towards Johan van Hasseltweg/s118. After 650m turn right towards the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. The Kromhouthal is on the left.
Take exit s116. Then take the first exit Noord 300-349. Turn left at the traffic lights. At the roundabout, take the second exit to continue straight onto Johan van Hasseltweg. Take the second right to go to the Gedempt Hamerkanaal. Follow this road to the end. The Kromhouthal is on the left.
The Kromhouthal has 74 private parking spaces in front of the door. In addition, there is plenty of parking in the immediate vicinity. Paid parking applies in the area.
If there is a need for more private parking spaces, it is possible to rent an additional parking lot with 600 spaces, just a 100m walk from De Kromhouthal.
Public transport
With metro 52 (the north-south line) you can drive from Amsterdam South to the new Noorderpark Station within fifteen minutes. Boarding at Central Station is also possible. The metro line runs 10 times an hour.
From Noorderpark station, turn right and follow the Johan van Hasseltweg. At the roundabout, take the first exit on the right and follow the Meeuwenlaan. After 150 meters you turn left, past Pand Noord, into the Hamerstraat. Turn right at the first street to get to Gedempt Hamerkanaal. De Kromhouthal is located at the end of this road.
A ferry can be hired from Amsterdam Central Station for a direct connection to De Kromhouthal.
There are free ferries to Amsterdam Noord. Take the easternmost ferry towards IJplein to get as close as possible to De Kromhouthal. The ferry sails four times an hour and eight times an hour during rush hour. After arrival, follow the cycle path, turn right and turn right after supermarket Dirk van den Broek.
